Ascorbic acid is the form of vitamin C in fruits and vegetables
Ascorbic acid is by far the best-known form of vitamin C. It is also the variant that occurs naturally in our food. Oranges, broccoli and apples; we all classify the vitamin C in these foods as ascorbic acid. The often-heard argument that ascorbic acid is not such a good form of vitamin C is therefore somewhat misplaced. Citrus bioflavonoids for better absorption of vitamin C
Bioflavonoids are plant nutrients that are also known as vitamin P. Citrus bioflavonoids can be found in the soft white part under the peel of the citrus fruit. Unfortunately, vitamin P disappears from our diet for 70 to 90 percent during cooking. Supplementation via supplementation is therefore far from an unnecessary luxury.
