Do you eat fatty fish at least twice a week? Research shows that most Dutch people don't even come close to this. This is worrying, because our bodies cannot produce the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA themselves. That is why we call these fatty acids essential.

Fish oil 1400 TG with D3 capsules contain a high dosage of no less than 560 mg EPA and 420 mg DHA from 1,120 mg omega 3. This amounts to an exceptionally high concentration of more than 80% active ingredient!

High omega 3 concentration of >80%
This high concentration of more than 80 percent omega-3 fatty acids is not self-evident. In a natural fish oil concentrate based on triglycerides, this ratio is usually only 26 – 57 percent. This is because the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA are bound to other fatty acids at the molecular level. Because we strive for a higher omega-3 content, we separate EPA and DHA from the other fatty acids with a careful extraction process. This is the only way we can achieve no less than 80% omega-3 per softgel!

Natural and best absorbable triglyceride form
When developing omega 3 supplements we need to separate the active ingredients EPA and DHA from the other fatty acids. This can be done in two ways.

The first is the easiest and cheapest, but the so-called ethyl esters that this withdrawal process forms are also less absorbable. For the absorption of this omega 3, our body still needs the substance glycerol. However, if this nutrient is not present in sufficient quantities within your system, your body will not absorb the omega 3 efficiently.

During the second (high-quality) process, the substances are put back into the original molecular structure, or triglycerides. This is the natural form of omega 3 with the highest biological availability. This means that our body absorbs this form best, without the need for additives. That is why Fish Oil 1400 TG with D3 also contains only triglycerides.

25 mcg (1000) IU vitamin D3 in natural form
As a supplement to this high-dose formula, no less than 25 mcg of vitamin D3 has been added. Most people who use Fish Oil 1400 TG with D3 therefore no longer need to take extra vitamin D.

In addition, the sun vitamin works well with omega 3. Vitamin D is, just like vitamin E, an antioxidant that prevents the oxidation of oil. When oil oxidizes, it not only becomes rancid, but its quality also deteriorates. This often causes fishy burps, where you burp up the oil, as it were. This is not the case with Fish Oil 1400 TG with D3!

Sustainably sourced from non-endangered fish species
The oil in this supplement is extracted from 100% anchovy, a non-endangered fish species. This is in contrast to mackerel, cod and brown trout, which are often used as a basis for fish oil supplements. These species are part of the most recent red list of endangered species and are therefore far from sustainable options.

In addition, anchovies have a short lifespan by nature and supplier Golden Omega catches them in their natural habitat, namely along the coast of Chile. These are the most fish-rich waters in the world.
