You supplement creatine daily, both on rest days and on training days. The most important thing is to take your dose every day. On training days we recommend using Elite Creatine before your workout (approx. 30-60 minutes). This is due to the presence of D-Ribose, a sugar (carbohydrate) that is quickly absorbed and provides immediate energy.
Creatine builds up in the body over time. Elite Creatine Complex is not suitable for a loading phase due to the presence of other nutrients in the formula. If you want to incorporate a loading phase into your training schedule, we advise you to use our Creatine Monohydrate.
When you use creatine you can retain a little more fluid. For sports where it is undesirable to gain weight it is therefore recommended to stop using creatine four to six weeks before the competition. During this period the creatine level in the body drops back to the original level.
