The B12 1000 µg Methylcobalamin is dosed considerably lower than the other B12 products in our range, such as the B12 Combi 6000. We will therefore not recommend this product for a severely deficient vitamin B12 level. However, it may be that you are somewhat further along in the therapy and your skewed B12 balance has already been almost resolved. In such cases, it may be a good idea to, for example, stop taking the B12 Combi 6000 and consider B12 1000 supplementation. This variant is also extremely suitable for children with an insufficient vitamin B12 level due to its dosage.

We offer you the B12 Methylcobalamin 1000 µg in the form of a melt tablet. Absorption via the oral mucosa ensures a fast and improved absorption of the active nutrients. In addition, the slightly sweet taste of the B12 Methylcobalamin 1000 µg melt tablet is very pleasant!

B12 in the biologically active form methylcobalamin
The best absorbable forms of vitamin B12 are methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin. Both are biologically active forms that no longer need to be converted by the stomach and intestines. A lot can go wrong in this process. Both methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin have important biochemical and therapeutic advantages compared to other non-biologically active forms of vitamin B12.

Perfect for the specific application
A deficient vitamin B12 level can manifest itself in different ways. In most cases we recommend a combination supplement such as the B12 combi 6000 or the B12 Forte Plus. However, you may experience symptoms of a deficient vitamin B12 level that we need to treat in a specific way.

This may mean that you need supplementation with a vitamin B12 product, while you have an elevated folate level in the blood. In this case, it is highly unwise to use a B12 product that also contains folate. B12 Methylcobalamin 1000 µg is a good option in this specific case. B12 in the form of methylcobalamin has the supporting property of making stored folate available to the body.

Usage
Take 1 melt tablet per day. Do not exceed recommended dosage.
Excessive use may have a laxative effect.
