Biotona Bio Superior Matcha is a refined green tea from Japan. The top product from the ancient tea culture was for a long time only intended for the privileged classes. Matcha is made exclusively from young tea leaves, traditionally picked by hand at the beginning of May (the first harvest). 3-4 weeks before the harvest, the tea bushes are shaded with tarpaulins. The harvested tea leaves are ground into an ultra-fine powder with granite stone mills. This processing and the organic cultivation result in a bright green, excellent tea with a sweet and "umami" taste.
